Chloe slowly reached up and pulled the head phones from her ears, not breaking eye contact with the boy as the last words to the song spoke out to her.

‘This ain’t a Love Song…’

And, willingly, she waved back, smiling for the first time in the past hours.

“Chloe? Sweetheart?” Allie called, her knuckles gently tapping on the wooden door. Her face slunk as she heard rustling, revealing that her daughter was in fact in the room but choosing to ignore. “Come on Chloe. Please talk to me.” She pleaded. Her legs twirled beneath her, like she had to go to the restroom, but it was a habit she had become accustom to when she's nervous. Her fangs chewed on her lip as she called again. “Come on Sweetheart. I can help. I've been through this numerous times.”

“Only twice Momma!” Chloe yelled through the door. She collapsed onto her bed, her fingers reaching into the air to grab the dust particles that shone in the sunlight. Her clothes hung from her small frame as she sat up suddenly, hearing a gasp come from her Mother, followed by a few sniffles. “Momma. Are you crying?” She asked, her own emotions tugging at her.

“No.” Allie lied, rubbing away the red tears from her eyes with her arm. “I'm not.” Another lie. She sniffed once more before more bloody tears ran down her cheeks, feeling the cold pain that radiated from her Daughter's room, and from her own experiences. “I may have been lucky with only having a few relationships, but I know the pain.”

Another sniffle. Chloe couldn't help but blink away her own tears, resting her own hands on her door, just mere inches away from her Mother's. “I know the pain of being shot down by someone you love. Your Father, he never acknowledged me back in school. I felt hurt, seeing just about every big breasted woman putting their grimy hands on him.” She laughed softly. “But you have to move on, unlike me. I wasted my teen years with schooling and alcohol.”

“Momma!” Chloe shouted, hearing this for the first time. “You drank?” She heard a chuckle come from the other side of the door.

“Yeah, stupid mistakes. I got pregnant because I was drunk, because I couldn't stand the fact that your father was everywhere! Becoming famous and whatnot.” Allie grinned, listening as her Daughter's hands slid down the door, resting on the handle. “I don't need you going down the same path Chloe. You're my first born, my little angel.” The smile widened, listening as the lock clicked and light poured through the opening. “So please, lets talk about this.” The light got brighter, and Allie just kept her pose, seeing the shadowed figure of her daughter.

“Alright. Lets talk.” Chloe declared, only to feel an icy hand grab her wrist, her body being chucked forward, the loud call from her Mother for her Father. Bloo appeared around the corner, pulling his daughter into his chest, holding tight. “You little cheaters!” She growled, thrashing gently in her Father's arms, not wanting to hurt the old man.

The Russian male held his devilish grin, lifting his teen into the air, trotting down the stairs carefully. “Ewa!” He called for his youngest. “Chloe's out! Come get 'er!” He shouted, hearing the small 'tap tap tap' of Eva's small feet against the flooring. She appeared in front of them, wearing a tank and shorts. Her eyes glistened with happiness.

“Yay! Chloe came out! Now ve play!” She was ecstatic to see her sister once again in front of her, not caring that the fact she held a sour face. “Come Chloe! Ve play now!” The eldest just stared down at her sister, whom had begun bouncing in place, her grin seeming to touch her ears.

“Alright, fine.” The girl grumbled, feeling her Father's grip loosen as he kissed the top of her head. “You guys are just evil.”

“Yeah, but you love us. And don't you want to see Gerard go through withdrawal?” Allie smiled, wrapping her arms around Bloo from behind, her head resting on his shoulder. “He got in trouble so we took away his technology. Even that lovely laptop of his.”

“No way!” Chloe exclaimed. “I don't think he's ever been away from technology! Come Eva! We have to see this!” Eva was thrown into the air by Chloe as she ran toward the door as fast as possible, seeing her brother pouting on the porch, shading his pale skin from the sun. “So! What did you do!”

Gerard just growled slightly, keeping away from the shade. “I got hungry and drank Mom's blood.” He replied, gnawing on his lower lip. “I don't see the big deal.”

“Well duh.” Chloe rolled her eyes, releasing her sister to roam through the yard as she took a seat beside the male. “Now, I shall give you a lecture on Momma and her blood source.” Chloe grinned with delight, feeling so proud of herself that she knew so much about her Mother, and the blood. “We're only like---half vampire. So we shouldn't have this craving until we're, well Daddy's age.” Her hands leaned behind her, supporting her torso. “I know I once had a blood craving. It was when we had found Daddy--”

“Thats right. You spent the majority of your childhood without Dad.” He laid himself on the porch, staring up at the blue sky. “Because Momma ran away from him.”

“It wasn't like that!” She snarled. “Momma was scared! Pregnant with me and I was supposed to die! And having to lose everything! I mean, Daddy's a playboy!”

“Don't get so defensive about it. I really don't care. It was seventeen years ago.” He responded. “Back to your lecture.”

The female glared down at her childish brother before speaking once again. “Where was I? Oh right. It was very sudden and Momma left her drink out. I was surprised how good it was that I drank her entire stash. She couldn't get any for awhile so she went through withdrawal and Daddy had a lot of bite marks.” She giggled. “They were in the room a lot too. They sent me to stay with Izzy quite a bit. I once stayed there an entire month and walked to school with Sammael.”

“He has to be at least twenty one now. Right?” Gerard asked, his fingers playing with the floorboards, sneezing a few times when dust flew up.

“Twenty two I believe.” She muttered, turning to look for her sister.

Her eyes laid upon the young man that held his hand out generously toward her fallen sister, whom was giggling like a mad scientist.

“T'anks mister!” Eva grinned, her fingers still latched to the male, whom seemed to have no problem with. He knelt down toward her level, giving her a warm smile. Chloe could see her sister give an embarrass smile. Her sister always was shy around older males.

“No problem. Be careful next time.” He spoke kindly, sending Chloe's heart into overdrive.

“I vill!” Eva shyly spoke, one of her toes drilling into the grass. “'ey! Yous vant to play vith me?” She suddenly asked, her voice filled with giggles.

The male just tilted his head, trying to comprehend what the small child said. It was difficult to listen to a five year old speak English, let alone with a strong accent.

“She said if you wanted to play with her.” Chloe suddenly spoke up, pushing herself from the steps. Her heart pounded.

Doki, Doki—Doki, Doki.

The male smiled, extending his free hand toward Chloe, to which she responded by shaking. “I'm Kyle. New kid on the block.” He smiled warmly once more.

“Chloe, and this is Eva, and my brother Gerard.” She nodded her head back a bit to refer him to her brother, whom had found some twigs, stones, and a sharpie, to which he begun making a keyboard. “Uhm, sorry about my Sister. She has a strong Russian accent.” Chloe apologized, feeling her sister move from the male to her leg, gripping hard. She had the same nervous habit her Mother has.

“Russia eh? Is that where you're all from?” Kyle suddenly asked, curiosity dripped from his words.

“Well, we lived there for a few years. My Father was born there, and so was Eva. My Mother, Gerard, and myself were born in this area.” Chloe smiled, gently shaking her leg to stop Eva from doing the 'nervous potty' dance. “This is the first time Eva has been to America, so she's quite excited about the weather.”

“I bet, Russian is a very cold place. Must wear very furry coats.” He grinned. “Hey, my Family is having a party tonight so we can meet the neighbors. You guys should come.” He invited.

“Let me ask my Momma. Eva stay here and make sure Gerard doesn't kill himself. Keep Kyle company!” Chloe ordered, feeling the girl grin and move to Kyle's leg, whom only patted her head, complimenting her hair and small bird wings.

The teen raced up to the door, pushing her way through as her parents wrestled on the floor, like any other day. “Bloo! No! I need it!”

“You're a blood-a'olic!” Bloo retorted, keeping the small red pouch from his desperate wife. “And ve got to save it for t'e kids!”

“But its mine!” Allie whined.

“Momma, Daddy! The new neighbors' son is in the front yard.” Chloe suddenly spoke, seeing the both of them become silent to stare up. “They're having a party to meet everyone. We should go.” She smiled.

“Someone's in a good mood now.” Allie giggled, nudging her husband slightly.

“I don't t'ink I'm going to like t'is boy.”
I'm sorry for butchering the Japanese language, but I've been reading a lot of romance mangas. D<

So, erm, I know there is a lot of errors but I was just rushing through it because someone kept badgering me about it!!! -Cough-Rowan-Cough-
But yeah. I sort of blame my lack of sleep for the long wait. Lately I've been getting less than five hours a night, except for Tuesday night. I got seven.
Sunday night I got two and lasted a long time. >D The power of Monsters!

Well, erm, yeah. Enjoy?
Also, I must say, ROWAN! WHAT COLOR ARE HIS EYES!!!

Oh, and Kyle's eyes are hazel, but if you want a dramatic discription, they are a honey brown along the perimiter of the iris and a kiwi-green around his pupils with specks of dark green
